Dr. Syed pursued her Bachelor's Degree in Biology at the University of Maryland College Park.
She then completed her Master's degree in Biology at George Washington University in Washington DC.
In 2004, Dr. Syed graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore.
She spent the next year completing a General Practice Residency at the New York Medical College in New York City.
