He then attended SIU School of Dental Medicine in Alton, IL for 4 years.
He graduated near the top of his class in 2000 with honors.
While in dental school he was awarded the Arm and Hammer Dental Award and was chosen to Omnicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society based on scholarship and character of dental students.
