James P. Smerdon grew up in Truckee, California and received his degrees from the University of Nevada and the University of Louisville School of Dentistry where he graduated in 2003.
Dr. Smerdon stays current with new technology and evolving dental care through continuing education courses, including a mini residency for implant dentistry and implant retained dentures.

Nevada Dental Health Services is not insurance.
It is a dental plan in which our dental providers have agreed to provide plan members with dental services at reduced fees.
They offer patients the unique benefit of significant savings on quality dental care.
Because Nevada Dental Health Services is privately owned, they are able to offer what many others cannot, namely exceptional care at reduced fees, all with the patient in mind.
Is this plan the same as dental insurance?

We accept most types of insurance including military.
We are happy to file the forms necessary to see that you receive the full benefits of your coverage.
We cannot guarantee any estimated coverage.
Your unpaid deductible and any estimated portion of fees not covered by your insurance are due at the time of service.
Because the insurance policy is an agreement between you and the insurance company, we ask that patients be directly responsible for all charges.
If for any reason your insurance company has not paid their portion within 60 days from the start of treatment, you are responsible for payment at that time.
We are happy to file the forms necessary to see that you receive the full benefits of your coverage.
We cannot guarantee any estimated coverage.
Your unpaid deductible and any estimated portion of fees not covered by your insurance are due at the time of service.
