She attended University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire, and she received a Bachelors of Science in biology with a chemistry minor.
After her undergraduate education, she attended Creighton University Dental School in Omaha Nebraska.
She moved back to the area following graduation.
She has been married to her husband Uriah since 2013.
She has two children and one very fluffy Goldendoodle named Ragnar.
