Lauren is our cross trained Registered Dental Assistant and Insurance/Financial Coordinator. She is a proud Louisiana native who enjoys cooking, music, believes in the value of a smile and lives to inspire others. Barbara is our Practice Manager. She has been with Katy Kids Dentist since 2013. She oversees the office operations and is committed to ensuring our patients and their parents have a positive experience.
Mary is our Registered Dental Hygienist and has been with Katy Kids Dentist for 26 years. She helps children overcome their fears and teaches them how to have clean, healthy teeth. Mary loves learning new things. She enjoys spending time with family and friends around the campfire, teaching bible studies, and traveling.

Dr. Kathy Ko is an enthusiastic and caring pediatric dentist who truly believes in creating a positive dental experience for children.
Dr. Ko was born and raised nearby in Cypress, TX.
After graduating from Cy-Fair High School, she decided she would like to experience a cooler climate so she moved to Ithaca, NY.
There she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Neurobiology and Behavior from Cornell University.
She then attended Boston University where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, graduating at the top of her class with Magna Cum Laude honors.

During your child's first visit, we will review their dental and medical history forms, and take X-rays of their teeth and mouth.
Then, the doctor will meet with you and your child to discuss the X-rays, help create an individual treatment plan, and answer any questions that you may have.
