Dr. Rob was born and raised in Texas and grew up in Houston and several other smaller towns in North Texas. He received his bachelor's degree in business administration from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls in 2002 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas in 2007. Dr. Rob had an interest in dentistry since his early undergraduate school and he spent much of his time in his dad's former dental practice while attending MSU.
He met the love of his life, Dr. Crista, at Baylor College of Dentistry and the two were wed towards the end of their second year of dental school. Dr. Crista was born in 1981 and grew up in Stephenville, Texas. She attended Texas A&M University, where she received her B.S. in Biology in 2003. Then she went on to Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas, where she met Dr. Rob.
After dental school, she and Dr. Rob returned to her hometown, Stephenville, to work in the well-established dental practice of her late father, Dr. Stephen Carroll, who had been serving the area as a dentist for 26 years.
