Sawtooth Dental PA
We appreciated their courtesy, their timeliness, thoroughness, and fees lower than what we had in. Sawtooth Dental has been proudly serving the Twin Falls, Hagerman, and Shoshone areas for 46 years. Dr. Gary Dixon started the practice in 1972. Then in the mid-1970s, he opened an office in Shoshone to help better and serve everyone there. Dr. Eric Thomas joined Sawtooth Dental in 1997.

After three years of being a dentist with Dr. Dixon, Dr. Thomas wanted to take his services and, thus, opened an office in Hagerman in 2000. Then in 2008, Dr. Steve Dixon followed the footsteps of his father and joined the practice. In 2012 Sawtooth built the building that they are in now to serve their patients better. After Dr. Gary Dixon retired, Dr. Brent Sorenson joined the practice in 2015.

Having three dentists at Sawtooth will provide extensive care to the Twin Falls, Hagerman, and Shoshone areas. We love the opportunity to be around everyone in the Magic Valley. At Sawtooth Dental, we believe that the healthier your smile is, the healthier you are.

I am proud to call the Magic Valley my home, having grown up here.
I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from BYU and then went on to obtain my Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1997.
My wife and I have four children.
We strive to give my patients positive dental experiences.
No one likes to have dental treatment done, but my goal is that nobody fears having dental treatment completed.
We like to have patients for life because of the trust and quality care they are receiving.
Oral hygiene plays a significant role in everyone's lives, as it directly influences one's overall health.
The best way to maintain ideal oral health is by regular brushing and flossing, and periodic visits to the dental office.
This way, our dentists can keep track of how good or bad your condition is, and suggest necessary treatment procedures.
Brushing and flossing usually get rid of a majority of the microbes from the mouth.
This significantly reduces the chances of contracting any oral infection, such as cavities, gum diseases, chronic bad breath, etc.
Dentures are removable replacements for missing teeth and the tissues surrounding it.
If you are tired of feeling uncomfortable or aren't stable about your dentures, then there is a remedy for your problem, i.e., Implant with Dentures for improved aesthetics to perverse the health of the jawbone.
Implant-supported dentures are over-dentures which are attached to the gums by root-form titanium implants within the jaws.
These implants are set in the jaw, where they are placed in the surrounding bone firmly.
Dental exams are performed to keep one's oral health in check and prevent any unexpected oral conditions from popping up.
When it comes to preventive dentistry, dental exams are the primary means to ensure your teeth, gums, and other parts of the mouth are in perfect health.
Let us look at some of the common oral exams.
Oral cleaning is the process of removing the plaque and tartar deposits from the teeth.
It includes two procedures, namely scaling and root planing.
They are performed on the tooth crowns and roots, respectively.
