North Jefferson Pediatric Dentistry
Children require special dental care. At North Jefferson Pediatric Dentistry, we are dedicated to providing care that addresses all of your child's dental needs. The fun, inviting, jungle-themed ambiance of our office will put your child at ease, decreasing any anxiety they may feel. We strive to provide gentle, comfortable dental care. Dr. Amy Parvin and her team not only provide outstanding early dental care, but they present thorough, age-appropriate education about good dental hygiene.

We love working with children and it shows! After their appointment, ask your child what they learned about tooth care! Some kids get extremely anxious about a visit to the dentist. We do our best to make them feel comfortable in our Gardendale, AL, office, and if they need a little extra help, we offer sedation dentistry with nitrous oxide. Nitrous oxide, also known as laughing gas, is approved by the American Dental Association for use in pediatric patients.

We're happy to answer questions you may have about this option.

The dental experience begins with teething.
Your baby's first tooth is likely to erupt between the ages of 6 and 12 months.
The teething process will continue through about age three when your child has all of their baby teeth.
Teething causes sore, irritated gums, and to soothe them your baby will seek relief through chewing on their hands, toys, and other objects.
