The AGD was founded by eight dentists who were committed to lifelong learning and quality continuing education. We continue this tradition today, by providing AGD members with benefits such as CE tracking, CE opportunities throughout the year, and educational events, including the AGD Annual Meeting & Exhibits. The AIM program accelerates the pace at which you can achieve Fellowship, or later, Mastership.

Presentations are all done in a very supportive group, with a consistent encouragement and positive feedback. There's guidance and mentorship in reaching Fellowship and Mastership goals, and overall the AIM members have a very positive, supportive camaraderie, which is a core value of this program. Aim Full (52) CE credits, includes a online critique which occurs about 6 months after you attend the progrm.

You receive the additional 30 credits for participating in the critique. The mission of the AGD is to serve the needs and represent the interests of general dentists, to promote the oral health of the public, and to foster continued proficiency of general dentists through quality continuing dental education in order to better serve the public.
Services
Dr. Judith Mamah started her dental career as a dentist in Nigeria.
She then migrated to the United States of America where she received her DMD Degree in 1998 from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Mamah offers a comprehensive scope of restorative and cosmetic dental procedures.
She is passionate about Sedation Dentistry for the very anxious and fearful patients, Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry.
Being certified for Sedation Dentistry has given her the ability to transform the lives of many patients by giving them the opportunity to receive dental care comfortably.
As your advocate, the AGD monitors important issues that affect the way in which general dentists practice.
On your behalf, the AGD communicates the interests of general dentists, both on the local and national levels.
We also provide you with the resources you need to make your voice heard regarding your profession, your practice, and the betterment of the public's oral health care.
We were presented with and subsequently discussed the current state of affairs, the myths and realities of midlevel providers (MLPs) as well as lobbying efforts and tactics we can employ to counter their advancement.
In response to the recent proposed state board changes the NJAGD reached out to it's members to touch on their concerns.
After careful consideration and feedback we drafted the following response to represent our members thoughts and concerns.
Some of these changes were minor, and others are significant.
With your feedback and the guidance of NJAGD Board Members we drafted the attached letter to the New Jersey State Board of Dentistry to voice our concerns.
It is our mission to represent our members as well as all general dentists in New Jersey.
