We are specialists in pediatric and adolescent dentistry, focusing exclusively on the developmental years-the most important years-of your child's dental care.
In many cases, you may have come to us because of a referral by your general dentist or pediatrician, but you don't need a referral to see us.
We are happy to make your appointment directly.
A pediatric dentist is specially trained and certified to meet the particular needs of children and teens.
This is a very special certification that requires two additional years of extensive training and continuing education.

Your child's first dental visit should be scheduled around their first birthday.
One of the most important reasons of this visit is to familiarize your child with the dental office environment and to ease any anxiety associated with future visits.
A twice a year professional dental cleaning and fluoride treatment are an important part of your child's program to prevent decay and promote healthy oral hygiene.
But at-home dental care and a healthy diet are equally important as visiting the dentist on a regular basis.

Cosmetic dentistry can correct crooked teeth, spaces between teeth, stained or discolored teeth, chipped teeth, broken or missing teeth, or a "gummy" smile.
Dr. Thomas can create a customized treatment plan based on your child's age, anticipated outcomes, and that will fall within your financial means.
When considering tooth fillings to repair decay, one of the options available are composite resin fillings, which are similar in color to natural teeth.
Because the composite fillings are tooth-colored, they are less noticeable compared to other types of fillings.
