Taylor Dental
We all know that oral hygiene is important. That's why we spend nearly 1,000 hours brushing our teeth throughout our lifetimes! Unfortunately, that's not quite enough. To keep your teeth and gums healthy, your smile needs regular, professional cleaning and polishing. That's where Taylor Dental comes in. We provide general, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry, as well as periodontal care, the Pinhole Surgical Technique for recessed gums, orthodontics, and more.

Your smile can't look beautiful unless it's healthy.
Services
I had just graduated from dental school at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.
We started the practice from scratch.
We had absolutely no name recognition and no referrals.
The office was originally in the Trio Building just west of Eastside School.
On the first day I had two patients.
They didn't seem to mind the home-built cabinets or that there were only two chairs and no staff.
The practice grew quickly, and it has been quite the ride.
I owe much of the success to wonderful, hard-working, dedicated staff who have helped us over the years.
Some stains or discoloration are too stubborn for teeth whitening systems.
For those teeth, we recommend veneers.
Veneers are thin porcelain sheets that cover the fronts of your teeth.
In addition to covering stains, veneers can reshape and improve the appearance of chipped teeth, crooked teeth, gapped smiles, and more.
Veneers are translucent and have a very natural look.
Crowns, or caps, are used to entirely cover an implant or a tooth that is structurally weak.
It was once an arduous task to get a dental crown placed.
Your oral health depends on more than just brushing and flossing.
There are areas in your mouth that just don't get completely clean with your at-home regimen.
That's why we schedule you for biannual preventive care appointments.
These appointments include a professional cleaning, tartar removal, and oral exam, including oral cancer screening.
Some exams will include digital x-rays, panoramic x-rays, fluoride treatments, or sealants (for pediatric patients).
Periodontal disease is characterized by bleeding gums, inflamed or receding gums, bad breath, gum abscess, or loose teeth.
If you have gum recession caused by periodontitis, or gum disease, lowering the gums is essential, as gum recession can eventually lead to tooth loss.
In the past, a gum graft was necessary to restore the gumline.
But at Taylor Dental, Dr. Taylor and his team are proud to offer the Pinhole Surgical Technique.
This technique involves making a small hole in the gums to gently pull them down over the exposed tooth.
The Pinhole Surgical Technique requires no cutting, no stitching, and minimal pain and swelling.
David Taylor, DDS, wants to help you achieve optimal oral health and a beautiful smile.
We offer a full complement of cosmetic and general dentistry services, as well as Pinhole Surgical Technique for recessed gums and Botox for orofacial pain, TMJ and Bruxism (grinding).
Our office treats patients of all ages for everything from pediatric sealants to dental implants and dentures.
Make an appointment today.
We can't wait to see your smile!
If you need a payment plan to finance your treatment, we offer flexible payment options, including CareCredit.
