A dental implant is an artificial tooth root that is placed into your jaw to hold a replacement tooth or bridge.
Dental implants may be an option for people who have lost a tooth or teeth due to periodontal disease, an injury, or some other reason.
Endosteal (in the bone): This is the most commonly used type of implant.
The various types include screws, cylinders or blades surgically placed into the jawbone.
Each implant holds one or more prosthetic teeth.
This type of implant is generally used as an alternative for patients with bridges or removable dentures.

A Preventive Resin Restoration (PRR) is a thin, resin coating applied to the chewing surface of molars, premolars and any deep grooves (called pits and fissures) of teeth.
More than 75% of dental decay begins in these deep grooves.
Teeth with these conditions are hard to clean and are very susceptible to decay.
A PRR protects the tooth by sealing deep grooves, creating a smooth, easy to clean surface.
PRRs can protect teeth from decay for many years, but need to be checked for wear and chipping at regular dental visits.

Porcelain veneers are thin shells of ceramic that bond directly to the front and top surfaces of the teeth.
They are an ideal choice for improving your smile and have become increasingly popular due to their simplicity and versatility.
With veneers as an alternative, there is no reason to put up with gaps between your teeth, teeth that are stained, badly shaped or crooked.
A veneer placed on top of your teeth can correct these maladies, simply and quickly, to help you achieve a beautiful smile!
