Emergency Dental is a private dental office set up for the immediate care of toothaches, facial swelling, extractions, broken dentures, lost fillings and crowns, and every other imaginable dental problem. Same day appointments are available Tuesday through Thursday, but it's best to call early to get an appointment for the same day. Many of our patients do not have a regular dentist.
Frequently, while caring for your emergency needs, we discover other 'interesting things' that will soon need attention. If you don't have a regular dentist and you wish to continue with dental care in our office, Megan and I will be happy to help you out. We provide exams, x-rays and also white fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures and partials. We selectively provide implant retained dentures and we often splint loose teeth to make them stronger.
When necessary, we remove your older mercury fillings and carefully replace them with glass ionomers and/or composite restorations. We work with all insurance companies as well as CareCredit for those who need a payment plan.

Inlays and onlays are often referred to as partial crowns.
They use the existing tooth as a base and fit the inlay or onlay onto the tooth.
This is done to strengthen the tooth, restore its shape, and prevent further damage.
An inlay is done when there is no damage to the cusps of the tooth and the inlay can be placed right on the tooth.
An onlay is used when the damage is a little more extensive.
The decayed area of the tooth is first removed during the procedure.
A mold of the tooth is then taken and sent to a dental lab.
