Hello - and welcome to the site of South Shore Dental Care, the #1 dental clinic in Holbrook and the surrounding area!
If you're looking to improve the overall health and appearance of your teeth, you're in the right place!
Without a dentist's help, it can be impossible to identify problems like plaque, caries, tartar and oral cancer.
For this reason, it's recommended that you get regular check-ups once or twice a year, no matter how healthy you feel you are.
We offer sports mouth guards that protect children and adults from physical trauma sustained during contact sports and other activities.
Your teeth need attention and timely dental care to stay healthy and attractive.
The outer layer of your teeth is made from hard enamel, but a number of factors - like sugary foods or failing to see a doctor on time - can result in damaged, chipped and even missing teeth.
As many as 40 million Americans are missing all of their teeth; to make sure you never have to join their ranks, it's worth coming in to see a dentist regularly for complete check-ups, like the ones we offer here at South Shore Dental Clinic.
A mouth guard is one of those things you don't know you needed until it's too late.
Reason #1 is, they can help prevent fractured, chipped and missing teeth - all of which are expensive and exhausting to repair.
Reason #2 is, a night guard can help reverse sleep apnea: a disorder that is potentially lethal.
Have an overbite or underbite that can cut into your mouth tissue during physical activities.
Here are the different kinds of mouth guards we offer at our clinic - and how they can help you.
Over 40 million Americans have no natural teeth, including 1 in 4 of all people aged 65 and over.
Tens of millions more are missing some of their teeth.
This means that if you're considering dentures, you're not alone; in fact, you or someone close to you are in the majority, because over 60% of all U.S. residents could potentially use implants, bridges or dentures!
A bridge is a row of 1-3 artificial teeth that's attached to natural teeth on both sides.
Bridges can last for years and look exactly like the real thing - but the problem is, you can't get them if you have few of your own teeth left.
