Zion Dental
Zion Family Dentistry is open and seeing patients for cleanings, fillings, orthodontics/braces, implants, crowns, veneers, dentures, extractions and other elective procedures. We are also here to see emergencies (as we have always been). We have made several changes to our office, procedures and processes to ensure the safest environment possible for our staff and patients.

Patients will be screened upon phone confirmation and again during check in at our office. This will include a questionnaire as well as temperature and pulse oximeter readings for all patients. Staff will use N95 masks with surgical masks on top of them or P100 respirators for all procedures and interactions with patients. We have installed a HEPA filtration system throughout the office that is capable of filtering all the air in the office in 7 minutes to decrease the amount of airborne particles and aerosols present.

To reduce aerosolization, for the time-being, all cleanings will be performed with hand scaling only.
Services
X-rays are an integral part of diagnosis and planning in any dental office.
Zion Family Dentistry uses the latest in digital x-ray technology resulting in accurate images that expose patients to far less radiation than conventional x-rays.
Digital x-rays offer several additional benefits to conventional x-rays including the ability to view images instantaneously and to enhance images on-the-fly.
This allows for shorter appointment times and less radiation exposure to patients.
We currently use PSP (phosphor storage plates), direct digital sensors, digital panographs and digital 3D cone beam CTs.
The first step when you're considering dental implants is to have a free consultation appointment with us to discuss your needs.
This appointment is important for us to understand your expectations and to explain the implant placement and restoration procedures.
During this appointment we will take any required imaging.
We will also answer any questions you may have and work out a treatment plan and schedule that will work for you.
During your consultation appointment, we will take a 3D cone beam scan to insure there is sufficient bone available for implant placement.
The first step to a beautiful new smile is a consultation appointment.
During this appointment we will talk with you about your goals for treatment; what bothers you most about your smile?
Our doctors and staff will take Xrays, photos and a digital scan of your teeth (no more goopy impressions!).
Other places charge as much as $500 for this service but we are currently offering this records appointment including a treatment plan, all Xrays, photos and the digital scan to you for free!
Traditional metal braces are what we all commonly think of when we think about dental braces.
No one likes to get cavities, but if you do have any, rest assured we can restore them with beautiful tooth-colored fillings.
Let us take care of your cavities before they become bigger problems.
Our dentists strive for perfection in crafting your filling so no-one will know we were there!
Have a broken front tooth?
Come see us!
In many cases, we can repair your broken front tooth with a filling or give you options on how to best restore your tooth.
In some cases you need more than just a filling.
We try everything we can to save teeth, but sometimes there are no other options than to extract them.
We do extractions of most teeth in the office.
Most patients don't feel any pain during the extraction and are able to go back to their normal lives immediately.
Let us help you get out of pain.
Tooth pain caused by large cavities resulting in tooth infection as well as other situations where the nerve of the tooth is irreversibly damaged can be resolved with root canals when there is sufficient remaining tooth structure to restore the tooth.
