Let's meet them!
Allison graduated from Iowa Western Community College with an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene Degree and she has worked as a dental hygienist for nearly two years.
This is the group of tissues that connect your jaw to your skull.
The key function of this joint is to allow you to open and close your mouth, enabling you to speak and chew food normally.
Pain and discomfort to the TMJ can be caused by many variables and at Omaha Dentistry, we can design a treatment plan to address your specific situation.
Pain, tightness, and general discomfort to the temporomandibular joint is classified as a TMJ disorder or TMD.
Treating TMD can be tricky because we have not been able to isolate a single cause.
From children to adults, cavities happen.
Whether it be genetic predisposition, poor oral health, or medication, wear and tear on teeth happens.
In cases like these, the goal of your dentist will be to preserve the structural integrity of the tooth.
Dental fillings can oftentimes do just that.
At Omaha Dentistry, we strive to maintain, restore, and improve the look and function of our patients' smiles, oftentimes with high-quality dental fillings.
Dental fillings are one of many restorative treatments that intend to reestablish the function and protect the structure of a damaged tooth.
If your teeth are damaged as a result of an infection, the structure itself can be preserved with a crown.
Whenever possible, we will try to save the tooth even if it means covering it with a crown.
When a tooth is removed, the underlying bone can deteriorate over time without stimulation that the tooth provides.
Dental crowns are caps that encircle the structure of a single tooth.
Crowns serve as a restorative treatment meant to preserve a tooth that has been damaged by decay or as the visible component of a dental implant that resembles the appearance of a real tooth.
