Dr. John Nikmard is a native Houstonian.
He attended Texas A&M University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.
Dr. Nikmard earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Univeristy of Texas Health Science Center while graduating in the top 5 of his class, and was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society.
He then went on to complete a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of California Medical School and VA Hospital Long Beach.
During his surgical residency, Dr. Nikmard obtained extensive experience in the treatment of patients with head and neck trauma, complex facial fractures and reconstruction, head and neck cancer, prosthetic smile reconstruction, IV sedation, hard and soft tissue augmentation and bone grafting, dental implantology, wisdom tooth extractions, and facial cosmetics.
