Dr. Hamman is a life-long resident of Libertyville, graduating from Liberty High School in 1977.
He is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and earned his doctor of dental surgery from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
After graduating he completed a residency in hospital dentistry at Michael Reese Hospital and then established his practice in Libertyville.
While in high school, Dr. Hamman enjoyed science classes as well as art classes.
He really wanted to find something that could incorporate both of these interests, and that is where dentistry came in.
