Services
We combine our specialty training which gives us the unique opportunity to monitor your child's growth and development and to treat them when we recognize the problems.
Pre- and post-natal consultations are available for parents and children up to 12 months of age, at no cost.
The prevention of dental disease, trauma, eruption patterns, oral habits and fluoride supplements are discussed.
For small cavities in primary molars, simple fillings may be all that is necessary.
However, in the case of primary teeth, enough of the tooth may have been lost that a filling may not be enough to save the tooth.
Solea is the first CO2 dental laser system cleared by the FDA for hard, soft and osseous tissue procedures.
It was developed in Boston, Massachusetts by Convergent Dental based on research conducted at the University of California School of Dentistry.
Solea offers a unique wavelength guided by sophisticated computers to deliver virtually painless dental procedures for both teeth and gums from simple cavities to complex surgeries.
The experience is so unique that you will find it hard to believe you were just at a dental appointment.
At Milestones Pediatric Dentistry, we use our state-of-the-art Solea Co2 Laser to perform frenectomies, also known as Lip- and/or Tongue-Tie release.
This procedure facilitates breastfeeding, reduces dental decay, and encourages cranial-facial development.
From experience and research, Dr. Lubrano believes that any mother who wants to breastfeed should be able to do so and do so without pain.
One of the most common and often overlooked barriers to successful breastfeeding is related to restricted oral-muscle function.
Dr. Carolyn's love of community service has taken her to various locations such as Guatemala, Costa Rica, and the Dominican Republic where she has provided dental and medical care in addition to humanitarian relief to those in most need.
She is a enthusiastic supporter of Operation Smile, an international charity that provides re-constructive surgeries to children born with facial deformities, as well as the Head Start Program, Give Kids A Smile, and the Special Olympics.
Dr. Carolyn is proud to serve as a school dentist with Commonwealth Mobile Oral Health Services in the Attleboro and Taunton school systems.
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association recommend that children have their first dental visit by age one.
It's our mission to make your child's first visit to the dentist enjoyable, positive, and educational.
The purpose of this first visit is to provide you and your family with the knowledge and skills to care for your child's teeth now and in the future, as well as to establish a dental home for your child.
We will review brushing and flossing, then clean your child's teeth.
