Our office is open to see patients. We are taking care of patients with urgent needs first, as well as those seeking preventative care. In order to protect our patients and our team, we have incorporated the new guidelines from: El Dorado Public Health, California Department of Public Health, Cal OSHA, OSHA, CDC, ADA, and CDA. We have also added procedures and equipment not required but approved to keep us all safer.

We will be continuing to add equipment and procedures as research validates the use and as they become available. Dr. Ted Roslund, a Placerville dentist, has knowledge of both traditional and alternative dental therapies. He grew up as a son and grandson of machinists, which exposed him to hands-on work at a young age. Combined with his interest in biology, he found his passion in the field of dentistry.

In 1981, he began his dental career in the Bay Area. With the guidance of a Pedodontist, Dr. Roslund developed skills working with children, including some with disabilities.

General dentistry treats your entire family and care for your overall oral health.
This is crucial to your total health.
Your general dentist takes responsibility for the diagnosis, treatment and overall coordination of services to meet your oral health needs.

Composite resin is a filling material designed for aesthetic dental restorations.
Composite resin consists of glass or quartz filler added to a resin medium, which produces a tooth-colored filling.
The invention of composite resin offers a substitute to the amalgam dental fillings we've grown so accustomed to.
This plastic and glass mixture contains no metal and can be shaped to resemble a real tooth.
Onlookers usually can't tell that a tooth has even been filled!
For years, amalgam was the only option for filling teeth.
