I would like to thank you personally for taking the time to read my biography and welcome you to our practice.
Being an orthodontist is a wonderful career: I improve people's lives by creating beautiful, lasting smiles and I build lasting friendships at the same time!
Becoming an orthodontist was one of the greatest achievements of my professional career.
The process started at the University of Maryland, where I completed my bachelor's degree.
I moved to Boston, where I conducted academic research at Boston University and obtained a master's in public health.
Romina has been a dental front desk assistant for more than five years.
She is pleasant and friendly, and strives to provide the best experience for all our patients and families.
She is also bilingual in English and Spanish.
At Raptis Orthodontics, Romina is responsible for scheduling appointments, reviewing treatment plans with patients and families, and checking financial agreements.
Additionally, she completes the insurance eligibility and verification process.
Anastasia loves to give back to our patients and families.
The American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) was founded in 1929.
It is the oldest and most prestigious specialty board in dentistry.
The ABO's aim is to elevate the standards of the practice of orthodontia, to familiarize the public with its aim and ideals, and to protect the public against irresponsible and unqualified practitioners.
To evaluate the knowledge and clinical skills of graduates of accredited orthodontic programs by conducting exams and conferring time-limited certificates.
To re-evaluate clinical knowledge and skills through administration of recertification exams throughout a Diplomate's career.
Our greatest goal is to give you the healthy, straight, and beautiful smile you've always wanted.

We will work with you to create a payment plan that fits your budget, and you will know what to expect before beginning treatment.
