Since 2008, the Miami County Dental Clinic (MCDC) has been dedicated to providing quality dental care and oral health education to those in the community benefiting from affordable, compassionate and accessible dental services to low-income, uninsured, under-insured patients.
The clinic has over 12,000 active patients from Troy, Piqua, Tipp City, West Milton, Covington, Sidney, Bradford, New Carlisle, Pleasant Hill and Casstown.
On average, roughly half our patients are uninsured and qualify for the sliding fee scale.

In 2012, the Traveling Smiles, Miami County Portable Dentistry program began providing quality dental care in the safety of the school environment for the under-served and disadvantaged children of Miami County that did not have a dental home.
Our mission is to treat all children enrolled in the program regardless of their ability to pay.
Our team of dentists, dental hygienists, and dental assistants have served over 3,000 children in Miami County since the program's inception.
Dental services include examinations and diagnosis, x-rays, cleanings, fluoride treatments, dental sealants, temporary and permanent fillings, baby tooth extractions and baby tooth root canals, oral health presentations and programs, including "Stop the Pop" and the "Tooth Fairy Program."

During their senior year of dental education, three students intern in two-week rotations at the Miami County Dental Clinic and in our Traveling Smiles, Miami County Portable Dentistry program.
Our dentists, Dr. Victor Dubel, Dr. Greg Gallagher, and Dr. Doug Gioiello, supervise the OSU students, and are considered adjunct professors at The Ohio State University.
