Dr. Marz graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. He graduated from Marquette Dental School in 1984, then immediately entered the U.S. Army Dental Corps as a Captain. He spent the next four years at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, providing dental care to officers, enlisted personnel and advanced individual trainees as well as retirees and their family.
After leaving service at Fort Jackson, Dr. Marz and his wife, Penny, relocated to Statesboro where he began his private practice. Dr. Marz has continued his dental education by attending courses from accredited centers such as the Dawson Institute, Scottsdale Center for Dentistry, and Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies.
