Anderson Pediatric Dentistry PA
Dental sealants are invisible plastic resin coatings that smooth out the chewing surfaces of the back teeth, making them resistant to decay. When a tooth has been injured, there are a few steps you can take to help save your child's tooth. Maintaining your child's dental health now will provide health benefits well into adulthood, as primary (baby) teeth serve some extremely important functions.

Who are we? Anderson Pediatric Dentistry is more than your kid's dentist. We are your partners. We are your go-to resource for infant care, routine visits, laser dentistry, special needs dentistry, and emergency care. Our goals are the same as yours. We want to give your child a beautiful smile, superior dental care, and a positive experience. As a pediatric practice, we strive to give parents and children the education and tools they need to make good choices and create healthy habits for life.

We want children to feel good about visiting the dentist and parents to feel confident in the care their child receives.

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that you schedule your child's first visit within six months of their first tooth erupting, or by their first birthday- whichever comes first.
While this may seem young, there is good reason for it.
Dental decay can begin as soon as a child's tooth arrives.
Tooth decay, if left untreated, can have serious implications for a child's long-term health and wellness and can also impact the permanent teeth below.
At Anderson Pediatric Dentistry, we want your child to feel comfortable going to the dentist.
While daily care of your child's teeth is the best way to prevent cavities and decay, routine dental cleanings and check-ups help ensure that problems don't go undetected.
We recommend that your child come in for a dental cleaning and check-up every six months.
At this appointment, we will keep your kid's teeth healthy by removing plaque build-up and food debris that may be stuck in his or her teeth.
This is an important part of dental care because it helps prevent bacteria from continuing to grow in these areas and potentially turning into other dental diseases, such as caries (cavities).
