His professional education includes attending North Dakota State University and the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, earning his BS and DDS degrees.
He is past president of NWDDS, where he also served on the Ethics and Bylaws committee as well as Peer Review.
With Dr. Thorfinnson's passion for general dentistry as well as adult and children's orthodontics, he has achieved the highest standards of orthodontic care and was awarded the title of Diplomate of the American Orthodontic Society by his peers.
