Dr. Tori Thuy-Conrad is originally from Hue, Vietnam. She and her family came to America for a better future and a chance at freedom in 1980. Growing up with the Vietnamese name Thuy (Twee), Dr. Conrad's siblings gave her the nicknames "TWEETY" and "BIRD". While she didn't care much for those names then, she has grown to love it, leading her to naming the practice after it.
Dr. Conrad attended Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Chemistry. She then moved to Minneapolis where she studied to be a dental hygienist prior to entering dental school. Dr. Conrad earned her DDS degree at the University of Minnesota. She then pursued her passion to serving children by completing a two-year residency in Pediatric Dentistry also at the University of Minnesota.
Throughout her educational endeavors, Dr. Conrad participated in various community service and leadership opportunities. She was awarded the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Award, School of Dentistry Leadership & Professionalism Scholarship, Order of Omega Leadership & Academic Award, Phi Sigma Theta Honor Society, and Excellent Patient Relations Award.
