I graduated from Ball State University in 1971 and Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1975.
Not many days have gone by in my 38 years as a dentist that I have not read an article or studied a technique about dentistry that has allowed me to keep current in order to better serve my patients.
I especially love the artistry of dentistry and the ability to create beautiful smiles.
The materials, techniques, and treatment options that we're now able to offer our patients are wonderful.
Dentistry, however, should not first be about fixing teeth, which we can certainly do very well, but it's as much about partnering with patients to see a better, healthier, more valuable way to get through life by preventing problems.
