He discovered his passion for dentistry while attending Miami University in Oxford, Ohio where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Arts and Science. Moving on to The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, he graduated with honors and received a Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. He returned to his home town of Bowling Green where he has practiced since.
