Sleep disordered breathing is a condition defined as sleep disturbances caused by abnormal breathing patterns.
Snoring and sleep apnea are the two most common sleep disorders.
Not getting a good night of rest may affect: productivity and performance at work, increase risk of injury or illness, cause a strain in personal relationships, or be a sign of a more serious problem.
Snoring occurs when your breathing passage is partially blocked, resulting in hoarse or harsh sounds.
Sleep apnea happens when the airway completely collapses, blocking airflow into the lungs.
