After dental school, he fulfilled his specialist residency in Orthodontics at UCLA where his colleagues and faculty selected him to be chief resident of the program.
On his way to becoming a board certified Orthodontist, a mutual patient introduced him to another young resident at UCLA named Christine.
Christine was also at UCLA completing her residency program in Pediatric dentistry following her graduation from the USC School of Dentistry.
