Our mission is to treat healthy children and special needs patients with respect and love. Here at While Smiles Pediatric Dentistry, located in Vernal, Utah, we are excited about your decision to have your child seen at our office and look forward to getting to know you and your child. We are committed to serving the patients of our practice by providing the highest quality of dental care possible.
At White Smiles Pediatric Dentistry we want to try to alleviate dental fear for children. Our goal is for dental visits to be fun, informative, and anxiety-free for both the child and the parent. We want your visit with us to be different, or special, from the experiences you may have had in other dental practices. As a pediatric dental specialty practice, it will be the expectation of every member of our staff to make your child's dental experience with us 'special'.
As an office focusing on pediatric dentistry, we specialize in the oral health of children from infancy through the teen years.

Services
Dr. Kolby Lance was born and raised in Vernal.
He and his wife Tara, a dental hygienist, along with their three children, Noah, Sloan, and Rowan were excited to have the opportunity to move back to the Basin to join the kid-focused team at White Smiles Pediatric Dentistry.
When they aren't doing dentistry, you can find the Lances cheering on Noah at the baseball fields, camping and fourwheeling on the mountain, or watching Utah Jazz games.
After graduating from Brigham Young University, Dr. Lance completed his dental training at the Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health.

If your insurance covers dental treatment, you will receive the benefit of reduced personal costs.

Insurance policies vary, so we will review your insurance to determine the appropriate course of action.
Once treatment has started, we will file your claims.
To help us with your insurance filing, please complete the insurance questions on our questionnaire.

Along with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, we recommend that a child's first dental visit be scheduled by his/her 1st birthday.
It is very important to make the first visit as positive and enjoyable for the child as possible.
We want your child to enjoy getting to know our doctors and staff and be comfortable at all times.
A pleasant, comfortable first visit builds trust and helps put the child at ease during future dental visits.
Let the child know that the doctors and staff will explain everything in detail and will answer any questions he/she has.
