I chose to be a dentist after doing a medical mission trip to the Philippines during my senior year of college.
While working in a remote village, a young eight-year-old boy came to the hospital; he had a severely infected tooth and his cheek was swollen to the size of a softball.
I immediately saw how important dentistry could be, and how I had taken for granted the dental care I grew up with.
It is an honor to part of transforming people's lives as they achieve a healthy mouth and a smile they are glad to share!
