He pursued a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry and a Master of Science in Dentistry from the University of Washington and Seattle Children's Hospital with specialty focus in Public Health.

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) advocates the first "regular" dental visit to be just after your child's first birthday or 6 months after the first tooth erupts, whichever comes first.
